First burger of the season, meaning cooked on my backyard barbecue. Normally my barbecue will catch fire in early spring from all the greases that accumulate throughout winter. I just let it burn off.

Over many years of travel I’ve collected quite a bit of money from around the world. The atlas background is the largest I could find so I was limited to what I could put on it. If I find a bigger one I’ll do another shot with a bit more :)

Last weekend at the peak of the a snowstorm I went out on a shoot with Mitchster. We had several spots in mind but in the end what turned out to be the only good spot was the downtown Minneapolis area. It was quite an ordeal dealing with the cold wind and blowing snow, but it was worth it.

The control room for the 16 inch guns of the USS North Carolina. Within this room were 3 other rooms, where the shells and sacks of gun powder are loaded into the breech. These rooms had doors as thick as vault doors. You can imagine why, and the consequences of being on the other side of those doors if there was a mishap.
