Went to the Jackson Street Roundhouse train museum last Saturday with Mitchster, Dusty, and Teresa. A lot of fun. We wandered well beyond the areas normally accessible to the public, with the approval of the staff of course. Carrying serious camera gear (and gray hair and/or gray beards per Dusty) does sometimes get you a little extra access.

Another shot from the 2009 City of Lakes Loppet. Everyone skis against themselves, but from the photo you’d think he’s trying to catch up with her, and she trying to stay ahead of him.

I missed the Luminary Loppet, but made it to the Freestyle Loppet, held annually in Minneapolis. Check Mitchsters’ and Gbenz’s websites, I’m sure they’ll have some photos of the Luminary Loppet. These skiers sure look in tune, don’t they.
