Hiding (or Bug In A Flower)

At first I thought it was another part of the flower, like the green core inside the pollen pods. I guess that’s what other insects venturing into it are supposed to think also. Must work, otherwise the bug wouldn’t be doing this.

I love the “cropping” on this.. if indeed there was any… composition perhaps?

Wow! Not easy to see but you have great eyes it seems. Nice shot with a beautiful color of the flower.

Amazing little bug. I’m not sure I have ever seen anything like that before. It’s a great find.

Nicely done, as usual. The green bug is a standout!
I wanted to let you know, also, the Lois Anne and I plan to award you the Perfect Pixel Award.
This award is given sparingly “to a photo blogger who exhibits exceptional photographic skills in terms of artistic creativity, composition, sharpness and exposure.”
You may pick up the award later this evening at Ocala Daily Photo (sometime after 8 pm your time) – I will post a photo as usual and then post your award below that.
This award is not to be passed on. All you need do is post it on your blog with a link to Ocala Daily Photo, and copy the third paragraph above. Please post it in your sidebar, also.
Your name will also be placed in the “winners” column of Ocala Daily Photo.
Please note that we’ve had you on our short list for some time. Then, Hilda at Manila DP wrote to nominate you for the award. That clinched it.
Congratulations. We believe you are an excellent photographer and fully deserving of this prestigious award!
