Southern Pacific 4449 Steamed Up
Southern Pacific 4449 all steamed up and ready to go. It left the station in Northeast Minneapolis at 8:00 am 18 July, destination Chicago. Once it left the station, I got ahead of it and got a few more shots as it was passing the Jackson Street Roundhouse.

Very nicely done HDR, I’d have been hard pushed to tell which for me is a sign of a well processed image. Especially like the steam. Thanks for stopping by my blog too, much appreciated.

What a stunning machine – quite magnificent.
This Linky is rather scruffy but the other kind won’t work for me today so I am playing safe with this one.

Great comp and spot-on exposure. I really like how dominant a shot it is. Nice touch with the bushes in the bottom right corner.
Nice :)

That is truly an amazing shot. Aesthetically, it looks fantastic. When I think about the work that went into making it, it is even more.
You and Dusty really inspire me to want to do more with HDR. Time I started experimenting.
