Lake Calhoun Marina
Met up with Mitchster and Dusty yesterday afternoon at the Duplex on Hennepin for a couple of beers and a light snack. Afterwards we went for a long walk around Lake Calhoun getting a variety of photos. Took us almost three hours I think. Didn’t seem that long at all as we had a great time chit chatting about photography and blogging, with plenty of photo stops. Look forward to the next time.

Love Lake Calhoun…one of my favorite spots as a kid…we used to go swimming at night on the south side of it — bunch of crazy teenagers. As I recall, it was always pretty cold.

That sounds like so much fun! I’ve only met with one CDP blogger so far — Lyra from Butuan City — and that was a good afternoon too.

fun as always! (despite the incident on the sidewalk. Hope she’s OK). I just brainstormed another fun filled walkabout that involves a road trip.

Yeah, still can hear that thump. I volunteer my truck for a road trip, lots of room in that supercrew cab.
