Trekking around near the Black Dog power plant on a windy snowy afternoon. I’m fairly sure the guy who pulled up in a truck into the parking area, got out watching me (down the path a ways) for a while, and then drove off, was a security guard from the power plant.

It’s funny that as a landscape photographer I try my best to not have power lines in my images, but in your image they are part of the image. Nice one.

Same here Neil. Us locals here like the river side area around downtown Minneapolis, but there’s hi tension powerlines that run parallel to the river on the side opposite downtown. I always avoid them, but in doing that you limit your field of view. I’ll have to put one up with them in view sometime.

I always wanted to go down there, but never have. The power lines add a boundary to draw us in.

They have problems with people who are opposed to powerlines.
