Sunset Over Minneapolis

On the way home from work I decided to take a little different route from my usual, taking me past a high point in St. Anthony from which you have a nice view of the western sky. Sun setting I pulled off into a small parking area with only minutes to spare before the sun would disappear. Another photog apparently had the same idea, except he was shooting a promotional video of the sunset for a travel agency.

Gorgeous shot! Do you know what the bird is in the photo? It looks rather large but it is difficult to determine its size.

As person who doesn’t even want to give the appearance of deceit, let me say that it’s not a bird in the photo. Somebody was flying a kite, but its easy to take that as a bird. I should have mentioned that.
However on the way to work this morning I did by coincidence capture a sky shot with some birds. That’s for next Friday.

Just lovely with the tree towering over all anf the bird in the sky another reminder that nature overshadows man made structures.
