On the way home from work I decided to take a little different route from my usual, taking me past a high point in St. Anthony from which you have a nice view of the western sky. Sun setting I pulled off into a small parking area with only minutes to spare before the sun would disappear. Another photog apparently had the same idea, except he was shooting a promotional video of the sunset for a travel agency.

This reminds me of you know what. Except I can’t spot the handle.

Taking this photo I was experiencing a taste of what’s to come … wind chill. Temperature wasn’t actually that cold, but a brisk breeze made me wish I had a hat or else a hood on my jacket. Tomorrow is supposed to be a raw day. High winds, lower temps, maybe even a bit of snow. I’m already looking forward to next summer.
