Black Powder Rifles

Ever heard one of these things fire? Unlike regular rifles, which have a sharp snap to their sound, black powder rifles have more of a boom. Loading them is not a trivial task, and you definitely have to handle them with care once loaded, much more so than regular rifles.

Was taken at a ‘Rendezvous’, something similar to the Renaissance Faire, except it exhibits the life of hunters and trappers during America’s early days.
