Swinging At Lake Calhoun

No, not that kind of swinging. I got this shot on one of my bike rides around the lakes. Asked the guy on the right if it would be OK for me to take some photos. He said something I took as a yes (don’t think English was his first language). As I got done, another guy walked up to me and asked me what I was doing. Kids dad. After explaining to him that I was taking silhouettes he said OK. Just being protective, the way he’s supposed to be.

I like the silhouette. There is enough information so that we can get the story but not so much that we can’t invent some for ourselves.

I like the silhoouette photo here. Thats the reason I stay clear of portraits and people photos.

I like the shot, its a very cool black and white look you’ve acheived with the lighting. NICE !
